Southwest Freeway northbound impacted by major crash, lost load at Chimney Rock, TranStar shows

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Multiple northbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway are blocked at Chimney Rock due to a major crash Thursday morning, according to TranStar cameras.

The Houston Police Department said it got a call at about 10:20 a.m. about a major crash on the Southwest Freeway. Police said the crash involved a black pickup truck and an unknown vehicle.

According to HPD, the pickup truck was towing a trailer when it overturned in the crash, spilling debris across multiple lanes of traffic.

It's unclear if anyone was injured or what led to the crash.
